From Joe Exotic to Doc Antle to Don Lewis, the series features a smorgasbord of basically nasty characters and plenty of mysteries, one of which will be the focus of the new Carole Baskin spinoff.
Carole's missing husband has sparked a lot of conjecture among the general public and the necessary authorities in recent weeks, but there has never been a conclusive answer as to what happened to Don Lewis in 1997.
According to what appears to be hastily amended last wills and testaments, the majority of Lewis' large inheritance went to Carole, his wife whom he appeared to be attempting to avoid, rather than his family before her. Don had made it clear that he wanted to get away from Carole and had planned to flee to Costa Rica with his other lover.
Carole is said to have killed her husband and fed him to the tigers and other big creatures they shared, and she even told the documentary makers how to get the cats to eat a man at one point.
