Stranger Things was a runaway success from the minute the first season appeared on Netflix, with not much advertising or star power, barring Winona Ryder.

From then, we’ve all loved it for just about every aspect. Part of the success is down to Netflix hiring children who could actually act in a story about children, which is something most casting directors fail to do more than half of the time.

But of course there’s the rich and provoking story, driven by excellently written characters who, except for Billy and that group of punks, we take a shining too almost immediately.

Who could have anticipated us all loving Steve Harrington more than life itself before the second season.

Genuinely upsetting…

With that in mind, we might actually start liking Billy this season, but it looks like someone else definitely is, and that’s Mike and Nancy’s mum, Mrs. Wheeler.

In the new sort-of trailer, we essentially just see a group of mothers doting over Billy, who’s on his lifeguard shift at the local pool. That’s essentially it, but it’s still a pretty fun watch…

I never realised before now that I fancied Mike’s mum. I don’t want to sound like a pig or anything, but she’s a total hottie.

So yeah, everyone fancies Billy who, to me, looks exactly like Shrek when he turned into a human, but with a mullet.

I just Googled it and apparently I’m not the only person to think that…

If you’re more interested in the characters we actually like from Stranger Things, Netflix released a proper trailer some time back, which give a little bit more away…

You can watch all of Stranger Things season 3 on Netflix come the 4th of July.

In the grand scheme of things, not that long away. We can make it.
