13 Reasons Why has more or less been confirmed for a third season in October and hey, isn’t that just some news?!

They’ll be calling it 13 Seasons Why before we know it, eh? Eh, everyone? Cor bloomin’ell, we’re talking about 36 reasons ‘ere?! Bleedin’ ‘eck!

Uh so yeah, it looks like 13 Reasons Why is almost definitely getting a third season this Autumn, as one of the actors took to Twitter to exclaim his delight with being called back to film more.

It’s a controversial show, that’s for sure, with many claiming that it goes a long way to glorify suicide, while gratuitously exhibiting rape and abuse scenes to get across some kind of narrative, but this hasn’t stopped Netflix.

Zack Prusak, who is credited as ‘Jock’ in the show, shared an image of him to Twitter, seemingly celebrating, with the caption:

“13 Reasons Why season 3. October 2019 ! Let’s go !

I mean it sounds pretty concrete.

could be wrong, and this could all be one big ruse. I suppose there’s a first time for everything, but I would be shocked.

What will season 3 of 13 Reasons Why be about?

Well, showrunner Brian Yorkey previously spoke about the possibility of the show following the existing characters, rather than introducing new tapes and reasons, saying:

I always think there’s more story to tell, but I think that depends on viewers and everyone’s reaction to it and whether it’s important to keep telling the story.

If there is a future for the show, to me, it’s about these characters, and not necessarily a new set of reasons or a new set of tapes. Someone else might do that, but that’s not my job to do that.”

When is the release date for 13 Reasons Why season 3?

Since the first season came out in March 2017 and the second in May 2018, there doesn’t seem to be any trend and it makes perfect sense for season three to be released this October.

We’ll keep you updated when we learn more.
