Aldi’s Fire Pit That Doubles As A BBQ Is Available To Buy Next Week

Aldi’s fire pit is back, and the perfect accompaniment to any garden this summer.

I don’t want to sound like one of those “British is best” kind of people but I’ve always maintained that of all of the summer holidays I’ve ever been on, however nice they were, they’ve never compared to being in England when it’s sunny.

I genuinely believe that London in the sun is the best place in the world and obviously, there’s so much more of the country that’s also lovely. It’s just a shame that the weather is so inconsistent and often wildly disappointing…

Oh, and that we won’t be able to actual go out and enjoy it this year…

For me, though, there’s little better than drinking with friends/family in the evening, in someone’s garden, all sat around a fire.

And now that the budget supermarket’s popular log burners and fire pits are back next week, you can do exactly that, providing you maintain your distance of course…

Not to be rude but, for Aldi, it actually looks surprisingly good, decked out with some kind of stone-effect, diamond-cut exterior with the grill slotting in neatly on top.

A description of the log burner reads as follows: “Imagine long evenings with friends around a real log fire. This steel Outdoor Log Burner is the perfect accompaniment as the days cool, offering a stylish and practical way to stay warm. It even has a handy log store so you’ll not run out of fuel!”

The garden enhancers are both reasonably priced, which is exactly what you’d expect given they’re from Aldi, with the log burner setting you back £59.99 ($74.28) and the fire pit priced at £49.99 ($61.90).

Both are available online from Sunday (26 April) and in stores from Thursday (30 April), although, sadly, once once they’re gone, they’re gone.

They really are a brilliant little investment, especially because the fire pit also doubles up as a BBQ.

They say about them: “This attractive stone-effect fire pit not only offers a warming focal point, but it’s also portable so you can enjoy it anywhere in your garden or patio. It’s easy to put together for your get-togethers and includes a lid, grate and hand tool.”

Probably need to update their product descriptions for 2020 – nobody’s having get-togethers.

I guess you can’t have it all.
