Like Flat Earthers, they’re an incredibly loud, obnoxious minority that paradoxically seem to look down on the rest of society for actually being correct. They’re typical of the climate we’re in where facts don’t matter and it’s the person making the most noise – despite what they’re saying – that does.
For me, a man of science, reason and logic (only two of those are correct) it makes sense that you would protect your children from harmful diseases by vaccinating them.
One woman disagrees, and wrote this idiotic bit of copy:
So her kid – Jericho (sigh) – isn’t vaccinated and could pick up anything outside, yet is getting an outdoor bedroom where animals and all sorts of stuff could get near him and infect him.
Nobody could quite believe the stupidity of the comment, and have duly roasted her in the comments.
Some people shared comments about their own – fictional – children, others sarcastically wondered why little Jericho was being stifled so badly, but the common thread was that people were pointing to the idiocy of what she said.
Mums, dads. Vaccinate your kids.
And if you do decide not to, don’t go out of your way to show the world how truly stupid you are.
We kinda’ already think that anyway.
