The Olympics 2020 may have been pushed back until next year amid the coronavirus outbreak, but that hasn’t stopped people, even celeb, from trying to break various records.
Even records set by superstars like Usain Bolt (an actual human cheetah), who, for some reason, Britney Spears has in her sights.
Britney, 38, trains at home regularly sharing updates with her Insta fans.
But you wouldn’t necessarily believe her latest claim that she has ran 100-metres in a super-speedy 5.97 seconds, completely destroying the world record set by Usain Bolt at 9.58 seconds.
That’s almost twice as fast for Christ’s sake.
Would the camera even catch her at such staggering speeds?
I’ve got images of a near supersonic Britney Spears running like the clappers in my head.
Britney has now deleted the post which was captioned “Ran my first 5!!!!” with a screenshot of an iPhone stopwatch paused at 5.97 seconds.
Brit later took to her Instagram to say that she was “obviously… joking about running the 100 meter dash in 5.97 seconds… the world record is held by Usain Bolt which is 9.58 seconds… but you better believe I’m coming for the world record!!! #joking #workbitch”.
Britney regularly flexes with some yoga, cardio and dancing in her mini gym to keep herself trim.
Britney has also been trying to keep her mind focused and positive saying: “What we need more now than ever is laughter… so happy to share!!!! Keep smiling folks!!!!! Before coronavirus shut down the world a week ago I was casually enjoying a beautiful view… but then…!!!!”.
Overcoming her boredom, Britney has also been sharing short video clips of herself modelling dresses she ‘never knew [she] had’.
She says in her caption that she never knew ‘that orange symbolises wealth, success, stimulation, happiness, fun, balance, sexuality, enjoyment, expression, heat, sunshine and warmth’ revealing that is exactly how she felt when she put her orange outfit on.
Perhaps, we all need some orange in our lives right about now.
A sunny exterior is everything after all.
