We know, it hasn’t even been Halloween yet, but in 2020 we need all the joy we can get.

How does a lobster toastie sound, or pigs in blankets macaroni cheese?

Both of these options are on the brand new Costa Christmas menu, arriving November 3rd.

The lobster toastie features responsibly sourced Lobster in a creamy béchamel sauce. If that wasn’t decadent enough, it’s topped with various cheeses, sandwiched between seeded malted bloomer bread, topped with a parsley crumb. It needn’t cost the earth either, as it’s included in their £5 lunch deal with certain hot drinks.

If you don’t fancy lobster, you can pick up a British Pork & Bramley Apple Sausage roll or try the more traditional British Turkey & The Trimmings Toastie.

Made with British turkey breast, British maple-cured smoked bacon, sage & onion stuffing and cranberry sauce, if that wasn’t enough it’s between cheese topped bread.

If paninis are more your thing there’s a Brie, Maple Bacon & Cranberry edition.

Costa revealed the return of some winter favourites earlier this month, it’s not yet known if more of the Christmas classics will be returning to the beverage menu.

Vegans rejoice, as there are plenty of new options for you on the festive menu too.

Fans loved the Vegan Ham & Cheeze toastie so they’re releasing a Christmas one. How does a Vegan Turkee, Cranberry & Stuffing Bloomer Toastie sound? Vegan turkee, vegan sage and onion stuffing, cranberry sauce and fresh spinach come together for this cruelty-free toastie.

For those with a sweet tooth, there’s also a vegan Biscoff cheesecake, a vegan Father Christmas Gingerbread  joining the gluten-free vegan Christmas Fruit Cake and the ever-popular gluten-free vegan Mince Tart.

Other sweet treats include a hazelnut and chocolate shimmer cake, an After-Eight muffin, and a Terry’s Chocolate Orange muffin, a vanilla sponge cake that looks like Santa is coming down the chimney, and a crispy Christmas Chocolate Star treat.

Cathy Port, Head of Food at Costa Coffee said: “Christmas has always been such a magical time of year at Costa Coffee and we know that this year in particular, our customers are looking to us to make the festive period that extra bit more special.”

She continued: “We’re incredibly proud to launch our 2020 limited edition Christmas food menu, which we believe is our best yet! It features so many iconic products, which we know our customers have raved about, but also brings in some phenomenal new innovations and partnerships to excite and delight returning and new customers.
