I don’t want to ruin the whole mystique around the show but Friends wasn’t actually filmed in the building we all recognise from the B-roll shots used in between scenes. Nope. It was actually filmed on the Warner Bros. lot in Los Angeles.

Sorry to ruin it for you but that’s Hollywood baby!

As you may or may not know, Courteney Cox recently joined Instagram, and for a relative newbie she’s got serious game.

And now Cox is at it again with the Friends throwbacks, sharing a video of herself visiting a building on the corner of Grove Street and Bedford Street in New York City — the very spot that was used as Monica’s apartment.

“Goodnight guys, I’m going home,” Cox, joked in the video, waving goodbye while walking toward the building before some classic, generic Friends music for effect.

She also created a cool title for her vid, calling it “The One Where My Rent Went Up $12,000.” You know, because she never could have actually afforded to live there.

Ahh, the nostalgia.

Notice how she tagged it ‘#missthosedays’, too?
