Disneyland Reveals First Look At Marvel Land Avengers Campus Which Is Set To Feature Spider-Man And Ant-Man Attractions.

CALLING ALL MARVEL FANS! I know you’re really annoyed about the Sony/Disney feud (although Tom Holland doesn’t seem too phased) but I have good news. A Marvel Avengers campus is coming!

Don’t lie to yourself, we all get a little excited at the thought of Disneyland.

Well now we can be even more excited because Disney has exclusively revealed its first glance at the Avengers Campus.

Disney’s D23 Expo is taking place over the next few days or so in California and they have just revealed something their incredible new attraction.

Avengers Campus is located within the Disney California Adventure park at the Disneyland Resort, where the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: BREAKOUT!’ attraction opened in 2017.

The site will be transporting Marvel fanatics into the MCU via attractions, experiences, shops and of course, rides!

It’s every adult’s…I mean…child’s dream…

According to Comicbook, Bob Chapek, chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, spoke of the upcoming addition to the park, saying:

“We’re building an immersive super hero-themed land at Disney California Adventure to enable our guests to join the Avengers to save the world.”

A Spider-Man attraction is due to arrive very soon and there is talks of it being nicknamed “The Worldwide Engineering Brigade,” or “WEB Headquarters” for short.

Other rides and attractions are yet to be confirmed as of now, but there are rumours of a microbrewery based on Ant-Man (I LOVE ANT-MAN).

The Disneyland Parks at California, Paris and Hong Kong are in talks of being connected through these new Marvel experiences and Avengers Headquarters.

Disney Parks say guests who visit these campuses will become part of an ‘interconnected, global story spanning from California to Paris to Hong Kong, as the Avengers recruit new extraordinary people to join them.’

An attraction synopsis reads:

“The Avengers are setting up new Headquarters and training facilities around the globe to inspire all potential recruits willing to step up and become something more.

As part of this global initiative, Tony Stark has founded the Worldwide Engineering Brigade — or WEB for short — to develop advancements in super-powered technology, including new enhancements to Spider-Man’s suit as their debut project.

By bringing together the world’s brightest young inventors, the WEB is creating new interfaces that will empower all of us to join the ranks of Earth’s Mightiest.”

This is too cool!

What will be at Disneyland’s Marvel Avengers campus?

There are also rumours that Hawkeye will be added as a meet and greet character, hinted from an art display at D23 that features a Quinjet, which is a form of property from S.H.I.E.L.D and is frequently used by the Avengers.

The Guardians of The Galaxy, Captain America, Spider-Man, Black Widow and Black Panther are all in talks of being recruited as meet and greeters!

When will Disneyland’s Marvel Avengers campus be open?

Avengers Campus is set to open in the summer of 2020 (we all know what we’re doing next summer).

It’s going to be MARVELous (sorry, I had to).
