Not only did she lose the old V plates to long time object of her desire, Gendry, but she also reduced the Night King to smithereens.
Not bad for a supposedly 18 year-old – when I was that age I was developing a dangerous addiction to smutty sites and putting in the hours on Gears of War.
In fact, Arya’s come along way over the course of eight seasons on Game Of Thrones, so much so that one of the world’s biggest rap stars has shouted her out during a recent acceptance speech.
Drake aka Drizzy aka The Six God was accepting his Top Billboard 200 Album award for his album Scorpion and before leaving the stage he gave a brilliant shout out to the Stark girl for her stellar work in Game of Thrones Season 8, episode 3.
After beating Cardi B, Ariana Grande, Post Malone and Travis Scott to win the ‘Top Artist’ prize, he said: “I just want to thank my mom for her relentless effort in my life.
“I want to thank my mom for all the times you drove me to piano.
“All the times you drove me to basketball and hockey, that clearly didn’t work out. All the times you drove me to ‘Degrassi’.
“No matter how long it took me to figure out what I wanted to do, you were always there to give me a ride, and now we’re on one hell of ride.”
“Shout-out to Arya Stark for putting in that work last week.”
Despite winning seven awards on the night – which is surprising because I thought his last album was bang average – it was his nod to Arya that stole the headlines, with GoT fans losing their sh*t.
I think they were surprised he watches it to be honest.

If you are a Thrones fan, I imagine you’re still reeling from Arya’s role in the Battle of Winterfell.
We already know that Arya was always destined to deliver the final blow, thanks to several bits of lovely foreshadowing, but how exactly was she kill the Night King exactly?
Well, eagle-eyed GOT fans think they spotted Arya using her powers of disguise to hide among the army of the undead, referencing the White Walker who very briefly turns to the camera just before Arya lands the blow.
Watch the clip below to jog your memory.
One fan wrote: “Arya didn’t jump over a ton of white walkers, she was wearing the face of one, hence melissandre: ‘brown eyes, green eyes, BLUE EYES.’”
“This includes the clip of the White Walker glancing. That glance made me think Arya was wearing its face.”
Usually I’m not taken in by these theories but this one has legs, as does this one about Jon sacrificing himself for Arya.
As I say it’s been a great week for Arya, and just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, this happens.
She can’t lose right now!

Charismatic, witty, charming, engaging - four things Joshua Rogers will never be. Thankfully, he’s a semi-competent editor, who, after graduating university with two mostly pointless degrees, joined The Hook two years ago. He subsequently honed his writing skills over several features and investigative pieces, arguably letting The Hook audience in on way too much of his personal life.
