I very much doubt Euromillions winner, Jane Park, 24, is right on this one but we guess it could just be wishful thinking.
Jane who scooped £1 million when she was just 17, making her the UK’s youngest ever winner has taken to Instagram saying she will “hit the f***ing roof” if Boris Johnson announces on April Fool’s Day that the current public health crisis is all one big joke.
That would make the government’s idea of an April Fool’s day prank very, very twisted and to be honest, I’m left pretty baffled why Jane would even say this.
Jane has become a bit of a hit on social media and is known to be pretty outspoken on certain things.
She’s recently drastically overhauled her image going over to the dark side after years of sporting blonde locks.
Back in 2019, Jane revealed winning the Euromillions had ‘ruined her life’ and threatened to sue the millionaire makers for making her life ‘stressful’ wishing she ‘had no money most days’.
Jane who has 235k followers on Instagram isn’t the only person who is hoping the spread of the deadly bug could be an elaborate April Fool’s as people struggle to come to terms with the pandemic and increasing fears.
One tweet read: “But what if this whole coronavirus epidemic was the prank for April Fool’s”.
With another echoing: “The coronavirus shit just one big April Fool’s joke watch”.
A third adding: “This coronavirus is the longest April Fool’s joke ever. Pls give it up now”.
I’m actually quite shocked at the naivety going on here – surely, people don’t really believe that it’s all just a joke that will blow over by April 1st.
Be a cracking Easter gift if it did – but, it is highly unlikely given the global scale of the pandemic and the fact that people are dying at such alarming rates.
There would have to be one hell of a lot of people in on the joke that’s for sure.
