Now, I’m not condoning stealing of course, but when you have companies like McDonald’s who by all accounts could pay their employees more, there’s really no harm in having an extra nugget in your meal.
With that, everyone is pretty much in love with Cody Bondarchuk – and not because of his name – who worked in a McDonald’s restaurant in Edmonton, Canada.
He’s not there anymore, but he recently revealed that whenever someone ordered a 10-piece nugget meal, he’d always slip and eleventh in there, free of charge.
Coming clean on Twitter, Bondarchuk wrote:
“I worked at McDonald’s for two and a half years and I put 11 nuggets in almost every 10-piece I made.“
When asked if he was every thanked got his good deeds, Cody replied:
“The location was mostly drive-thru so not that I can remember, but I’d like to imagine they went home, saw the extra nug, and smiled a little.“
I’m sure they did.
The replies were suitably loving…

If it’s free stuff from McDonald’s you’re into though, the fact that they’re giving away free chips this Friday may be of interest to you.
I mean how could that not be of interest to you? That said, I ordered a McDonald’s from Uber Eats the other day and they accidentally sent me three lots of chips. Hardly touched the two portions I didn’t order.
Anyway, less about me not eating chips, you can eat some for free on Friday 22nd November so long as you order them through their own free-to-download app.
Best of all, we’ve gone through those pesky and T&Cs, and you don’t need to purchase anything else in store to claim your free fries. In fact, you don’t even have to order in store; just download the app, make the request and pop in and out. The offer is available to all new and pre-existing McDonald’s app customers in selected branches across the UK, so for the love of lunch, cancel all other eating plans and take advantage.
Annoyingly this is only in participating branches, and you can check if your local is one of them here.
