The issue comes when people – sometimes celebrities – see taking a photo with a female fan as an opportunity to inappropriately touch them.
This doesn’t happen all of the time, obviously, but it has been known to occur and in no circumstances it is at all acceptable. It’s simply taking advantage of one’s position to make women feel uncomfortable and harassed for personal gain.
That’s exactly why people are absolutely loving Keanu Reeves as he’s taking no chances and showing the utmost respect to his fans, albeit having the resulting photos looks a tiny bit awkward.
Twitter user Kemoy Lindsay shared four photos of Reeves showcasing his pose, and it got a lot of attention…
Keanu has the amazing power to make you feel hugged without ever having touched you.

Not that I would ever be in the position where someone would want to take a picture with me, but if I were in his shoes, I’d do like a double thumbs-up or something, to avoid the awkward hover-hand.
Or ask how they want me?
Not a clue how I’d react in the heat of the moment. Good thing I don’t have to.
