The Mandalorian has managed to please Star Wars fans and this looks set to continue for years to come if the comments of Giancarlo Esposito are to be believed.

The Star Wars fan base can be difficult to please but the show has managed to cultivate a significant audience.

The Mandolorian has shown Star Wars fans the life of a bounty hunter and with Season 2 around the corner, many have been keen to see how this would be built upon. Giancarlo Esposito who plays Greef Karga in the series has discussed how the show will continue to develop past the highly anticipated second season.

Esposito spoke to People and detailed how this season ties into future seasons:

“So I think this show is going to lay the groundwork for the depth and breadth that’s gonna come in season 3 and season 4, where you’re really gonna start to get answers.”

Season 3 of The Mandalorian had already been reported to be in development but many fans are intrigued by the mention of a fourth season, particularly with “answers” being delivered.

This news comes on the back of the programme winning seven Emmy Awards and it seems that anticipation for the show and its future story arcs are at an all-time high.

Safe to say, fans are excited for the future of the show which looks set to continue for some time.

In the meantime, Season 2 of The Mandalorian arrives October 30.
