Not a proud moment, I’ll admit, but luckily there isn’t a video of it to constantly remind me of how bad it was. Unlike this next girl, who was viciously and savagely attacked by a nutter of a chicken on a rollercoaster (slight hyperbole), which we absolutely do have footage for.
Check it out.
Hilarious. I mean what was it thinking flying head first into a rollercoaster? Something weird is going on with birds at the moment and I don’t like it. First we had that seagull flying off with a chihuahua and now we’ve got this.
The incident happened at the end of the DC Rivals HyperCoaster ride on the Gold Coast at Australia’s Movie World. Apparently, the kamikaze bird was a bin chicken, otherwise known as an ibis – an infamously reckless bird.
Thankfully, for Paige, the girl who was hit in the face, the bird only left her with a small scratch on her right shoulder. Although it did leave a few feathers behind in the melee.
Uploading the video to Facebook, Paige’s mum wrote:
“She had feathers on her and a beak scratch on her right shoulder. She’s completely shocked, a little bruised but OK … not sure about the bird?
“How can you not buy that video.”

“Can you even imagine the horror?” one person wrote.
‘Can you even imagine the horror?’
“I’m in absolute tears of laughter,” wrote another.
Another tagged and friend and asked: “You still wanna go on this rollercoaster?”
“What about the poor bloke behind her that would’ve copped a bin chicken too,” another observed.
What was the chicken thinking? Did it have beef with Paige? If so, what for? Are Paige and chicken involved in some kind of real-life Peter Griffin vs Giant Chicken fight to the death?
I reached out to the chicken for comment but it’s yet to respond.
