‘Goat Of Duty’ Looks Just About The Best Video Game Ever Made

Let’s be straight here – Goat of Duty is like Call of Duty in that you have guns and whatnot but instead of a human (or a robot?) you’re a goat and the game looks stupendous.

I’m not much of a gamer, myself; I’m yet to buy FIFA 20 and I have my sights set on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare whenever that comes out, but I may need to extend my reach now…

And no I don’t mean to the Marvel’s Spider-Man game on PS4 which I maintain is one of the best pieces of media I’ve ever consumed, but rather, to Goat of Duty.

The game seems to build on the ‘vaguely annoying animals that make weird noises’ market that was recently dipped into by Untitled Goose Game, but this time, instead of causing mild peril, you’re armed to the teeth – as a goat – and encouraged to shoot and kill other goats.

It’s essentially your standard first-person shooter but with your very non-standard playable characters; goats.

Have a watch of the trailer…

The developer wrote on the game’s Steam page:

Goat of Duty is a fast-paced multiplayershooter where goats armed to the horns bleat face to face in a relentless deathmatch.

Ram and troll your friends, don the craziest goatstumes, and put your skills to the test in the quirkiest FPS ever. Are you ready to become the GOAT of goats?

Goat of Duty is a fast-paced and intense multiplayer first-person shooter, and that´s pretty much all you need to know.

No nonsense: no need to master a convoluted metagame, learn different characters, combine skills, strategic team play… just devilish combat arenas, powerful weapons, and fast-paced action.

Well, and lots of silly humour, crazy goatstumes (skins), and goat mechanics for you to troll your friends to your heart’s content!

The game has yet to be released but the steam insists that we’ll be able to play it soon.

Can’t wait.
