The 29-year-old rapper was filmed before the accident, with footage circulating on Twitter showing the star riding his motorcycle, with a friend cheering him on.
Passers-by, who have since been criticised by fans, went on to film the star while he was lying on the floor following the crash.
The man believed to be Bugzy – real name Aaron Davis – was seen being taken away on a stretcher, and his current condition is unknown.
There’s currently a load of videos on social media purporting to show Bugzy on his motorcycle before the accident – with a quick Twitter search showing the build up to the incident.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed details of the crash in a statement.
It read: “Shortly before 9.20pm last night (Wednesday 25 March 2020), police were called to Rochdale Road, Bury to reports of a collision involving an Audi car and a quadbike.
“Emergency services attended and the driver of the quadbike – a 29-year-old man – was seriously injured and taken to hospital for treatment.
“His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
“No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
“Anyone with information should contact 101, quoting incident number 2677 of 25/03/20. Reports can also be made anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
Fans on social media sent messages of support to the rapper after reports of the crash emerged last night.
YouTuber KSI said to his 5.5million Twitter followers: “I’m praying for you fam.”
Rapper Chip said: “Prayers out to @TheBugzyMalone from the most sincere place in my heart and soul. Hope he pulls through.”
DJ and producer Snips wrote: “I hope Bugzy Malone is okay. Hope he makes a speedy recovery.”
And DJ Semtex told his 80,000 followers: “Praying for Bugzy Malone and his family. He’s a warrior, absolute Spartan, if anyone can recover from this @ TheBugzyMalone can.”
