Secondly, here is where you'll get out your sewing machine and sew right on the paper-pinned felt.
This way of tracing and sewing patterns is enjoyable but make sure to leave the bottom open so you can stuff it.
To remove the paper, gently pull it away from the felt.
Using a sharp pair of scissors, trim about 1/4" inch around the stitched line.
Lastly, take some fabric paint and stipple dots all over the cactus. We used a sheet of paper to help us draw straight lines.
Let it dry overnight, then do it again on the other side.
Fill your cactus gently with polyfil.
Warm up your hot glue gun and load the bottom of your pot with polyfil.
Then, do some mixing and matching to find the best prickly combinations, then hot glue the bases together for further stability.
Glue poms strategically around the cactus and the pot's foundation.
Cut out the accent flowers using the design. Use about 5-7 flowers per pot, arranging them on the cactus tip or as accents in the felt rocks.

Why Use An Artificial Leaf And Fake Plant

Even though it is now simpler than ever to purchase live plants online, despite the best efforts, there are times when the plants we purchase online end up becoming dead plants.
A solution can be found in artificial plants, sometimes known as fake plants, silk plants, faux greenery, or any other name you choose to give them.
They won't ever outgrow their containers, the leaves won't ever droop and turn yellow, and you won't ever have to worry about giving them any more water or fertilizer.
Even if you don't pay much attention to them, they always stay the same. But they need to be washed every so often to keep them looking clean and in good shape all year long.
Artificial plants aren't limited to a single location. You have complete freedom to move and put them wherever you wish.
This allows you to experiment with your design and give your landscape or area a fresh look.
They're also simple to re-pot if you want a different shape, color, or aesthetic. Also, they are suitable for use around children and pets.
