After the success of Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker role, most movie fans thought that would be it for Jared Leto’s version of the character seen in 2016’s Suicide Squad.

Jared himself expressed unhappiness at the time that he had been overlooked for the role, but it seems it’s not the end for him playing the troubled character.

He’s reportedly recreating his role for Zack Snyder’s Justice League, also known as the Snyder Cut.

Leto played the Joker alongside Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn, who went on to star in Birds Of Prey without Jared appearing, instead his character was just alluded to offscreen.

Deadline reported he’d made the cut, but it’s not known how big a role he’ll play in this new outing for HBO Max in 2021.

Work is underway for the new series, also starring Ben Affleck, Ray Fisher, and Amber Heard, and it’s said it will be split into four sections.
