If you’re not feeling either of those two options though, Lidl are here to help with a swimming pool that’s pretty big and pretty cheap. You won’t be able to do laps in it and train for the Olympics, but you’ll certainly be able to cool down in the hot summer sun.
The deal was found on the Facebook page that never fails to make me laugh – Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK – and was shared with someone posting a photo of the advert from the store’s website, and writing:
“Anyone wanting something bigger than a paddling pool, Lidl has a Bestway 12′ Steel Frame Pool for £99 from Sunday June 7.
“I’ve looked online I can’t find anything similar for cheaper! And it comes as a full kit, may be a good deal for some people?!“
The pool measures 3.66 x 0.84m and comes with a filter pump to keep it clean, as well as an ‘easy-to-read floating thermometer for temperature checking’ and a ‘corrosion-proof plastic surface skimmer automatically clears debris’.
Sounds pretty handy.
Furthermore, there’s a repair kit for it you get a leak. Not too shabby at all.
The website write of the pool:
“It doesn’t get any better than having your very own pool in your backyard and this ultra durable pool strikes the perfect balance between quality and price“.
Meanwhile, over at Aldi, a new contraption that slides over your barbecue and cooks pizzas to perfection is on the market and fear not, they don’t break the bank.
£39 is the going price for one of these wonderful machines and you can get your hands on one in store now. Happily though, you can also get one on the Aldi online store so you don’t need to worry about shops running out of stock.
Made with a steel exterior and a ceramic stone (to char the bottom of your pizza), the oven will cook pizzas up to 12 inches and can also cook other things, like meat and fish. Apparently your pizza will be ready to eat within 10 minutes of sticking it in the oven.
Twelve inches isn’t huge, mind, but I really like the idea of cooking my own pizzas. That just sounds fun.
That’s said, I would 100% go back to ordering online once I got bored on kneading dough.
That’s life. I have a pasta making machine and a bread maker somewhere in the house, I still buy bread and pasta.
