Love Island viewers are already turning on dance extraordinaire Curtis Pritchard.

Love Island is officially underway, although it still doesn’t really feel like it’s properly underway yet.

Everyone is getting on a little too well for my liking – I need some drama. After all, that’s why I’m watching it in the first place. Like if Lucie were to pour a drink all over new girl Molly-Mae shouting about real ‘Bevs.’

Give me some of that.

However, we do have Curtis Pritchard, loveable, likeable, somewhat flamboyant Curtis, proving that every cloud really does have a silver lining.

Or not.

That’s because fans have already started to turn on Curtis – who’s coupled up with Amy – as they’re getting fed up with his personality and brandishing him as “fake.”

It’s weird because my flatmate said the exact same thing and I just pointed out that he was being cynical as per.

Not Curtis, not our lovely Curtis, the ruddy great slab of dancing excellence.

However, he does still have some fans (me), with other people taking to social media to back their man.

One viewer of the Caroline Flack fronted show wrote: “Absolutely in love with Curtis, everyone should be like Curtis.”

A second added: “Can I hire Curtis to be my life coach. all these encouraging speeches he gives out.”

A final fan wrote: “In a world full of Anton’s find a Curtis.”

This comes after Love Island tweeted a response to the ‘It is what it is’ drinking game.

In regards to Curtis, though, keep doing you my man. I’m calling it early this year: him and Amy are this series’ Jack and Dani and they’ll go all the way.

Although I’ll taken anything providing Anton doesn’t stick around for much longer.
