A man has created and built a gun that shoots face masks onto people who deem themselves too important to wear one, which is pretty fantastic.

Allen Pan is the man whose genius invention proves that that it can be pretty easy to put a mask on.

From his YouTube channel  Sufficiently Advanced – and posting a small snippet on Twitter – he shared his amazing device by saying that people all over America are refusing to wear masks, so he decided to take matters into his own hands.

He said in the video:

It feels like people just aren’t wearing masks, and they should be.

So what are we gonna do about it? What am I gonna do about it?

He continued saying that his way to solve this fed into the Second Amendment, which many many Americans seem to be so fond of.

American problems demand American solutions.

I’m gonna put together the Second Amendment with healthcare. That’s right: guns and public safety. Boom! Best of both worlds“.

Taking his gun to Huntington Beach – which he says is the most anti-mask place in California – he was shocked to find that there were a lot of masks on show, though he still let people have a go on it.

I don’t know if it was the time of day and the percentage of locals versus tourists or maybe people are actually coming round to the idea of masks, but there’s a ton of people wearing masks here!

I mean, it’s not a majority – it’s probably like 25 percent at best – but we’re outside and this is Huntington freakin’ Beach.

Finally, an invention that’s here to help humanity, rather than hinder it.

This is up there with those little t-rex heads on the end of sticks that you use to grab things half a metre away. Great stuff.
