So McDonald’s just improved the best day of the week…

If we had presses here at The Hook, I’d stop them for this story – ’cause this is huge.

Cancel the meal prep on Thursday night and celebrate the start of the weekend with a free portion of fries courtesy of McDonald’s on Friday 22nd November (originally reported by The Mirror). McDonald’s has announced that it will be giving out free medium fries to anyone who puts in a request for them via their app, in this one-off giveaway.

Free fries for UK app users on Friday

Best of all, we’ve gone through those pesky and T&Cs, and you don’t need to purchase anything else in store to claim your free fries. In fact, you don’t even have to order in store; just download the app, make the request and pop in and out. The offer is available to all new and pre-existing McDonald’s app customers in selected branches across the UK, so for the love of lunch, cancel all other eating plans and take advantage.

McDonald’s Christmas advert 2019

Earlier this week, McDonald’s revealed their entry in this year’s Christmas ad race – and they’ve picked a winner. After delivering with their ad in 2018, the fast food giant has, once again, served up something special for Christmas 2019 – by introducing us to the adorable ‘Archie the reindeer’.
