You know what I’m talking about – the man’s been on a tear recently, bringing fans one mad invention after the other, starting with his vegan chicken burger to red hot inferno bites and a Mac N Cheese bowl that’ll blow your socks off.
Maccies hasn’t been far behind, and now the latest addition to their already-impressive roster looks to have catapulted them back into contention as the best fast-food chain around.
Prepare yourselves, it’s a game-changer.
A chicken burger made with naan bread.
According to reports, the Indian Chicken will feature two Chicken Selects with an Indian-style relish, garlic mayo, red onion, lettuce, and cucumber, all sandwiched between two mini garlic naan buns.
The new treat will set you back £4.19 for an individual burger, or £5.89 if you opt for it in a medium meal, which I’m guessing you will.
The Indian Chicken burger will land in stores across the UK on 25 September, but you’ll have to be quick if you want to get your hands on one as they will only be available until 22 October. Luckily though, the burger is all part of McDonald’s Great Tastes of the World promotion, which explores different flavours from around the globe.
A new version of the Canadian Melt will be available, called the Canadian Stack, which features a bun being filled with maple BBQ sauce, two beef burgers, cheese, and smokey bacon.
Then there’s The French Stack – complete with Garlic Mayo – which will be on the menu from 25 September to 8 October, as well as the Swiss Stack with Emmental Cheese Sauce, which will land on 23rd October.
The Italian Stack with Pesto Style Mayo and the Jamaican Chicken with Spicy Jerk Sauce round off the latest additions to the menu and honestly I’m salivating already.
As I say, Maccies really aren’t far behind in the race for fast-food supremacy at the mo’, evidenced by their new Salted Caramel McFlurry, which also arrives tomorrow.
The indulgent ice cream combines pieces of creamy Galaxy chocolate with a swirl of caramel sauce, all mixed into the brand’s statement soft serve ice cream. This delectable dessert will set you back 99p for a mini and £1.39 for the regular size.
Exceptional stuff all round. Getting fat’s never been so fun.
