We promise we’re not making this headline up. It seems like a random name generator, but it’s absolutely true.

It’s been revealed that Harry and Meghan will join Jennifer Lopez and Selena Gomez at a Covid concert.

Organisers say they want this special event to “reunite the world”.

The former royals are just two of the big names taking part in the Vax Live show.

It’s scheduled for May 8th, with stars taking part including Foo Fighters, J-Lo, Eddie Vedder, J Balvin and H.E.R.

The event is going to be hosted by Selena Gomez, alongside Chrissy Teigen, David Letterman, Gayle King and Jimmy Kimmel and actors Ben Affleck, Nomzamo Mbatha, Olivia Munn and Sean Penn.

French President Emmanuel Macron, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and Croatian Prime Andrej Minister Plenković will also appear at the concert.

However, it’s not been revealed just yet what Harry and Meghan will be doing at the event, but they’re being called the “campaign chairs.”

What we wouldn’t give to see a song or dance. Maybe Harry can do an assault course again, like he did with James Corden.

A big reason for the event is a drive to raise money for COVAX.

COVAX is a vaccine-sharing program co-led by the World Health Organization.

They are hoping to raise $19 billion to pay for the vaccines for medical workers.

Statement

Meghan and Harry have put a statement on their Archewell website:  “Over the past year, our world has experienced pain, loss, and struggle—together. Now we need to recover and heal—together, we can’t leave anybody behind.

“We will all benefit, we will all be safer, when everyone, everywhere has equal access to the vaccine.

“We must pursue equitable vaccine distribution, and in that, restore faith in our common humanity. This mission couldn’t be more critical or important.”

It will also be the first time that pregnant Meghan has been seen in public since their controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Many organisations are supporting the campaign – including WHO and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.

It can be watched at 8pm ET time in the US on ABC, CBS and YouTube.

The event will be recorded on Sunday at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris will also appear. They’re taking part for the “We Can Do This” initiative.

It’s hoped it will increase confidence in COVID-19 vaccines.
