Mooning is commonly used to express outrage, disgust, disrespect, or provocation in the English-speaking world, but it can also be done for shock value, pleasure, as a joke, or as a type of exhibitionism.
Mooning is considered indecent exposure in various jurisdictions, depending on the situation.

A Mum Moons The Crowd

Katie Hannaford, who is 36 years old, experienced a tumble the week of June 15, flashing teachers, parents, and students alike while participating in the school event. Her face was left more than a bit reddened as a result of the incident.

It would appear that her daughter, who was eight years old at the time, was eager for her mother to take part in the run; nevertheless, it is likely that she is now regretting the decision that she made to take part.
The mother from Basildon, in the English county of Essex, can be seen in the viral video lining up in the third lane from the left as the audience cheers on the race's competitors.
They get off to a fantastic beginning, but only seconds into it, Katie loses her footing and falls face first into the field, leaving her behind hanging in the air.
Unfortunately, her light blue dress pulls up over her head, exposing her undergarments for all to see.
A group of children can be seen in the background quickly turning around as they realize what has happened.
Fortunately, Katie, the owner of a homeware firm, saw the funnyside, and while she was humiliated at first, she now finds the whole incident 'hilarious.'

She said in an interview that she is not sporty at all, but her daughter kept begging her. In the end she agreed to the race but she knew she'd come last.
Katie also said:
Looking back, it's hilarious, definitely the funniest thing I've ever done in my life! I just tripped over my own feet, I think my body was just moving too fast for my legs! I'm so clumsy, I'm always falling over. I was humiliated at the time, but it is what it is! I flashed my underwear which is obviously embarrassing but you just have to own it.
