I understand that finishing a season on a cliffhanger is something that most studios and TV shows like to do, but ending a show on about five separate cliffhangers? That just seems gratuitous.
Obviously the show was great. I really liked it even though I was instantly shocked at how much of the show was sex and how little was education, at first. I’m not a prude or anything, I just didn’t see it coming.
Definitely not something to watch with the parents.
But anyway, since we’re all desperate to find out what happened to Otis, who managed to sneak in a kiss before the season closed out, and Maeve, who saw, we’re not-so-patiently waiting for the next season to come to our screens.
Well thank god that they’re already filming that, as confirmed in this somewhat steamy tweet…
Well that’s exciting.
Sex Education stars Asa Butterfield as the lead, Otis, as well as Emma Mackey as Maeve, joined by the mercurial talents of Gillian Anderson, Ncuti Gatwa, Aimee-Lou Wood, Connor Swindells, and Kedar Williams-Stirling.
If season two is half as good as season one was, then we’re in for a good treat here.
It actually made me want to go back to school. And I hated school. Powerful forces in play if something makes me want to go back to that place.
Finger’s crossed that they get this done as quickly – and well – as possible, because I need something to binge on and I’m in too deep with this whole not watching Game of Thrones thing.

Alfie Powell joined as an apprentice and was probably hired because he was likely the only person who applied. When not writing for The Hook, Alfie finds time to indulge in his favourite hobbies, such as drinking and sitting down.Follow
