John Lewis and their Christmas ad is a highlight in the festive calendar for many, but fans have been heartbroken this year as they’re all falling for a tragic homemade version.
Fans are sharing their displeasure (and in some cases, anger) at the “alternative ” advert, that features a dog dying and a man having a heart attack.
None of them seem to have noticed the caption on the video stating it’s homemade, or the fact John Lewis hasn’t shared it.
It’s not all doom and gloom though, as the featured song in the fake advert is raising money for charity – and it’s a really good song!
