Have you ever known a TV series to remain as relevant and in the news so long after it last aired than Friends?

Me neither, because 14 long years after we saw *spoiler alert* Ross and Rachel decide to give it a go for good, the iconic sitcom about 6 (apparently rich) twenty-somethings remains as talked about as ever.

Now, if you had to push me for my favourite character I’d say Ross; he just has so many awkward yet utterly genius moments that it’s hard to keep him off top-spot.

For many fans, though, it’s Joey, which I can’t really argue with.

However, even the staunchest Tribbiani lover probably won’t have noticed this subtle scene where Matt LeBlanc breaks character and has to essentially hide his laughter by putting his hands over his face.

The hilarious moment happens in the season 4 episode “The One With The Worst Best Man Ever” where Ross confronts a stripper who’s apparently stolen his dead grandmother’s wedding ring.

As you can see from the GIF below, LeBlanc can be seen wetting himself behind David Schwimmer in an attempt to stifle his laughter, which many people are only just noticing for the first time now.

Of course there’s a logical explanation as to why this is only jut getting picked up now; it’s just the aspect ratio switch from 4:3 to 16:9 allowing us to see stuff that previously wasn’t on screen when Friends first aired.

Which is exactly why we get this happening.

Friends, ey, it really is the gift that keeps on giving.
