The Prince Harry drama continues on.

To say that relationships in the Royal family have been strained recently would be an understatement.

Following the controversial Oprah interview with his wife, Meghan Markle, Prince Harry had some making up to do.

Harry returned to the UK for the funeral of his grandfather, Prince Philip. The brothers were photographed side-by-side at the Duke Of Edinburgh’s funeral, and many royal experts hoped this would be the ideal time for them to put their differences to one side.

Reports now claim that Prince Harry may delay his return to Los Angeles to stay for the Queen’s birthday on Wednesday.

It’s said he booked an open return flight back to the US.

The Queen will turn 95, and it will be her first birthday since the loss of her beloved husband of more than 70 years.

Peace Talks

It’s said that Princes William and Harry met with their father, Prince Charles, after the funeral at the weekend. The peace talks are thought to have lasted for more than two hours.

A source told the Sun: ‘If all goes well, he could stay for the Queen’s birthday.’

After arriving in the UK, Harry quarantined at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.

There are hopes that the brothers have made up, after they were seen talking animatedly as they left the funeral.

Some are praising Prince Charles, after he gestured for waiting limousines to leave just as the brothers walked out. His action meant they walked away from the funeral instead, giving them time to talk alongside Kate Middleton.

Harry was initially seen speaking to his sister-in-law she appeared to hang back so he could talk to William without her.

It’s thought that the brothers will meet again in the summer to unveil a new statue to Princess Diana at Kensington Palace.

It’s planned for July 1st, on would have been their mother’s 60th birthday.

A source said: ‘It’s early days but you’d hope this is exactly the first step Philip would have wished for.’

Oprah

It had all become very awkward after the accusations that were made during the interview with Oprah in March.

Prince Harry claimed his brother and father were ‘trapped’ in ‘The Firm’.

Meghan did not travel with Harry as she is heavily pregnant with their second child.

However, she watched the ceremony on TV and also sent a hand-written note to leave with a wreath at the funeral.

Despite these positive signs, sources told The Mail on Sunday Harry received ‘a great deal of frostiness’ from many of his relatives.

“Getting On With It”

It’s claimed Princess Anne, Prince Edward and his wife Sophie didn’t acknowledge him.

One source said: ‘Ironically the only one who has expressed any sympathy towards him is Prince Andrew.

‘He knows from Sarah Ferguson – and now first-hand – how it feels to be the outsider, which Harry very much is.

‘As far as the others are concerned, there is a deep sense of protection towards the Queen and resentment towards Harry. There is little sympathy for him after what he and Meghan said on Oprah.’

‘They are still very upset,’ the source added. ‘They are putting on a united front for the Queen, they all think he has behaved appallingly.’

‘He is thought to have seen Eugenie, most likely outside since she’s being strict with her new baby,’ said the insider.

However a friend of Harry said: ‘He’s just doing what he’s told and getting on with it.’

Do you think they’ll make up?
