Though it hasn’t been officially announced by Disney or Marvel, production for the solo Black Widow film has started.

That’s right, production for the Black Widow film has unofficially begun, with Scarlett Johansson being seen filming in Norway, donning her Natasha Romanoff gear.

It’s a film that’s been a long time in the making, with behind the scenes work going on for the best part of three years.

Fans all over the world have been calling for a solo Black Widow film for a while, citing that all of the other Avengers – barring Hawkeye – have had their own films and Natasha’s backstory is one that could do with expanding upon.

Seen filming in Saebo, Norway, Johansson is doing some pretty mundane stuff as Black Widow, like going to a pharmacy or getting on a ferry.

As of yet, almost nothing is known about the upcoming film and even when it’s set is a complete mystery.

A few people seem to think that it was going to be set in the five years between Infinity War and Endgame, but that seems unlikely since her hair has no blonde in it.

On top of that, I just hope it isn’t.

It seems most likely that this will be a prequel, documenting Romanoff leaving the KGB and joining S.H.E.I.L.Dbut things could even go further back than that, expanding on the spy training that was briefly touched upon in Age of Ultron.

Only time will tell, and as production goes on, hopefully we’d get a better idea of the cast and story.
