Robert Downy Jr’s onset video from Avengers: Endgame is both emotional and so Tony Stark.

As you all know by now, Endgame was likely the last time we’d get to see Downy Jr as Iron Man, barring things like video recordings and flashbacks, and it was pretty emotional for all of us.

Saving the universe is no mean feat and Tony Stark managed to do just that when he stole the Infinity Stones from Thanos and snapped his fingers.

Sure, it was Bruce Banner who actually brought everyone back to life, but it was Stark who stopped Thanos from undoing it all again.

On the whole; great film with great performances and we’re all going to miss the wit and hidden tenderness of Robert Downy Jr in the MCU.

With that, the actor posted a video to his Instagram that showed his last moments on the Avengers: Endgame set, where he addressed the crew candidly…

I got a lot of feelings, but I’m gonna take Chris’ lead and save it for Instagram. Thanks so much.” He says, before he goes to hug everyone.

Eleven years of Robert Downy Jr being the most prominent person in the MCU and now he’s done. He went out the best way possible, but I’m still sad about it.

We’re not sure which of the Marvel Chrises Downy’s talking about, but my guess is on Evans.

Most of the comments on the video were thanking Robert for his work, while a few other still wanted to know various plot points to ease their minds.

Before that, he did share the behind-the-scenes footage of him taking the stones from Thanos’s gauntlet, which was pretty cool…

Thanks, Rob. I’ll miss you.
