A whole host of conspiracy theories exist, with ideas ranging from experimental military base to housing for extra terrestrial aliens, but it’s the latter that caught the public’s imagination.
People want to think there’s aliens among us on earth for some reason, and for another reason the general consensus is that if they are on earth, they’re in Area 51.
It’s the guns at the door that do it, really. The US government have themselves to blame.
People have tried to get in before, of course, but every time they’ve been stopped, arrested or shot at, but a new plan was hatched.
Just run at the bastards in hoards. All it takes is numbers and a callous regard to life to overpower the guards at Area 51, and given how millennials feel about their lives, that doesn’t seem too out of reach.
Well because of that, an event on Facebook was started, called ‘Storm Area 51, they can’t stop all of us’ which had millions of people into the idea. It’s since been turned into some kind of alien-themed festival (probably after some kind of official threat) but before then, the description read:
“We will all meet up at the Area 51 Alien Center tourist attraction and coordinate our entry. If we naruto run, we can move faster than their bullets. Lets see them aliens.”
It now reads:
“Spawned from the now legendary “Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All of Us” meme, comes AlienStock the TOUR!“
Doesn’t sound as good.
Nonetheless, people showed up as today’s the day, and the pictures are pretty stunning…
I wish I were there. Fighting for what’s right.
