Get ready Gossip Girl fans, as the reboot has officially started filming.
According to Deadline, work started on the new series in New York on Monday.
Filming was originally meant to start in March, but like many productions shooting was delayed by the pandemic.
As well as NY, the series is expected to be filmed in Vancouver and Los Angeles.
The new reboot is expected to be 10 episodes, and will be set eight years after the original series, and it will feature a new generation of teens living their best life and the dramas that come with it.
It’s set to star Emily Alyn Lind, Whitney Peak, Eli Brown, Johnathan Fernandez, Tavi Gevinson and Jason Gotay, according to HBO.
Award-winning director Karena Evans will be directing the pilot and the second episode.
Fans are hoping for cameos from the original cast, and it hasn’t been confirmed if the storylines will have any link to the first series.
