Netflix have revealed that we’ll all be treated to The Kissing Booth 3 next year with the release of a lovely video showing all of the cast essentially having a good time.
In the video, we see stars Joey King and Joel Courtney walking around together, while the latter is texting someone on their phone. Joey then loudly exclaims “What are you doing?! You can’t send that!” and we’re treated to the rest of the cast – including newcomers Taylor Zakhar Perez and Maisie Richardson-Sellers – reacting to the news.
As the video is wrapping up, Jacob Elordi then shows up and asks what he missed, followed by the announcement that The Kissing Booth 3 is coming to Netflix in 2021.
If you’re unfamiliar with the series – I have no idea how you’ve got this far – but the synopsis for the first one reads:
“A high school student finds herself face-to-face with her long-term crush when she signs up to run a kissing booth at the spring carnival“.
While the second reads:
“After a romantic summer together, Noah is off to Harvard, and Elle heads back to high school for her senior year“.
The revelation that a third movie would be coming was pretty obvious, since The Kissing Booth 2 ended on a pretty huge cliffhanger, as Elle was given offers for both Harvard and Berkeley. The big question is, is she going to join Noah, or go her own way.
Meanwhile, it’s become clear that Marco’s going to need to come clean about his feelings. It’s going to be a big threequel.
2021 on Netflix. Be there.
