If you're not sure what to purchase for Christmas this year, it could be a chess set. The Netflixseries The Queen's Gambit has been a smash hit, inspiring many of us to go out and buy chess sets in the hopes of becoming the next Beth Harmon.
Although the premise may not sound fascinating, the series stars Anya Taylor Jor as chess prodigy Beth and her extraordinary talent.
Fans have fallen in love with the series' aesthetics and design, as well as a newfound enthusiasm for the sport, sending them to eBay in droves.
