Viral challenges up until now have been pretty poor.

They’ve either been stupidly dangerous, exist entirely to exhibit arrogant people letting us know how fit they are, or not at all challenging.

However over the weekend a new challenge, the “Trashtag Challenge” went viral on site like Instagram, Twitter and Reddit, and it’s genuinely brilliant.

Essentially it’s just do-gooders taking pictures before and after they take clean up heaps of litter in public. It’s superb work and in a weird twist in trends that come from the internet, commendable.

That last one is outstanding.
