It’s a scary time to be a Marvel fan.

I’m absolutely terrified of what might happen in Endgame and I genuinely believe that it could be the first film to ever make me cry.

I mentioned it to a friend the other day and he asked what I’d be obsessed with next, under the impression that Avengers: Endgame would be the last thing made by Marvel and Disney.

Thankfully he’s way off, and a smorgasbord of films are slated for releases sometime in the near future.

The next six films, after Endgame, are as follows…

Spider-man: Far From Home

We’ve all seen the trailer for this one and we’ve all doted over lovely Jake Gyllenhaal. He’s such a dreamboat I almost don’t care that he’s going to definitely turn out to be evil and try to kill Spider-Man.

No one really knows when this one will be set since Peter Parker seemingly faded away in Avengers: Infinity War but various people in Marvel have said that Far From Home will be set after that… somehow.

Black Widow

Nothing’s confirmed about this one but since a lot of people think Black Widow will come to an untimely end come Avengers: Endgame, this will be a prequel about her life up until the point she met Tony Stark as part of shield.

Black Panther 2

Black Panther basically printed money for Disney so it’s no surprise that T’Challa isn’t dead and will in fact be back for another outing.

We’ve not a clue what this one will be about but there were rumours that Donald Glover would be playing the bad guy in it, which is odd since he played a more lowkey and ultimately not villainous version of the Prowler in Homecoming.

Doctor Strange 2

The first Doctor Strange film was just fine, but he really came into his own in Avengers: Infinity War.

This one’s trickier to know when it’s set since, by all accounts, the Sorcerer Supreme was decidedly average at sorcery by the end of his debut. Later on though, in Infinity War, he was pretty excellent at magic.

It makes you wonder what happened between the two films and whether this could tie in to that time. I hope not though…

Bit of a shock, this one. I don’t actually know much about this lot at all…

Created by the Celestials at some point during the evolutionary process of humans, the Eternals were intended to be the defenders of Earth. Rather annoyingly though, the aptly named Deviants have literally the opposite thing in mind.

More cosmic f*ckery from Marvel that I’m sure we can all enjoy.

The “Master of Kung Fu”, better yet than Iron Fist at fighting, I hear. And he’s bloody good at fighting! I don’t think Shang-Chi has the “chi” though, weirdly.

Shang Chi was modelled on the late Bruce Lee and really, that’s just about all I know about him. He’s really good at fighting…

See? I wasn’t lying.

Pretty exciting stuff.
