Horror films and TV shows are all the craze right now and along with gratuitous amounts of true crime documentaries, Netflix are really cashing in on that.
The Haunting of Hill house was huge, and there’s a new followup series for that coming soon, but in the meantime, there’s Typewriter.
A five-part series series set in Goa, India, Typewriter follows three young men trying to catch a ghost that apparently haunts a house nearby. Bad idea.
Low and behold, before they can actually do anything, a new family moves into the house and things don’t go too well for them. watch the trailer…
The description reads:
“Three young friends in Goa plan to search an old villa for ghosts, but when a new family moves in, the home’s buried past resurfaces in chilling ways.”
It’s always old ghosts, isn’t it? Never recent ones. No-one’s been haunted by a millennial who died before their time.
Actually maybe they’re to blame for when the WiFi goes down lol relatable millennial humour XD.
Don’t be fooled by the child cast though, this show is not for children, similar to Stranger Things in that sense.
The show is so good, apparently, that just a few weeks after the first season was dropped, a second season is being demanded.
The show has english dubbing, but it’s probably better if you turn that off and just go for English subtitles… like how all those anime nerds say is better.

He's been blagging his way through writing articles for four years now and he's definitely showing signs of slowing down. When not writing for The Hook, Alfie finds time to indulge in his favourite hobbies, such as drinking and sitting down.Follow
