In the mood for a classic horror binge? Look no further as I have the perfect list for you.

I have ventured into the deepest, darkest, depths of my memory to provide you with the ultimate horror fix (2000s style). Not only were horror films a lot scarier back then, but they were also a lot heavier on the gore scale (these films definitely aren’t recommended for the faint hearted).

There’s a lot of choice here, so sit back, relax and begin working through these terrifying trailers.

1. The Hills Have Eyes (2006)

A family are headed for sunny San Diego, but not all goes to plan. Having ended up stranded in the middle of the desert, far away from civilisation, it’s not long before they realise they are being hunted by a group of twisted, mutated cannibals.

Two strangers wake up in a room with no idea where they are, or how they got there. However, through playing a series of warped games, they will be proving themselves to a notorious serial killer.

3. Cabin Fever (2002)

A group of students fall victim to a deadly virus after staying in a rented cabin in the woods. If that isn’t their biggest problem, there’s also a few creepy locals seeking revenge.

4. Eden Lake (2008)

What was meant to be a romantic weekend away for a sweet couple, ends up being their worst nightmare as they’re tormented by a gang of violent thugs.

5. 28 Weeks Later (2007)

Six weeks after a horrifying out break of the Rage Virus, the US Army help to secure a London quarantine for survivors. However, no one is as safe as they think.

Having grew up in an orphanage, a woman brings her family back there. However, the film takes a creepy turn when her son disappears after communicating with an invisible friend.

It’s the post-apocalyptic world and zombie slayers are out to play. The world is their oyster, after all.

40. Shaun Of The Dead (2004)

Shaun and his best friend Ed are stuck in the middle of a zombie outbreak. All that matters is that they they save their loved ones, and head straight over to the Winchester.
