After eventually being defeated in a clash with Weili Zhang at UFC 248 earlier this month legendary UFC star, Joanna Jedrezejczyk has showed off an incredible transformation after being left battered and bruised.

Joanna took to Instagram after returning home to her native Poland and revealed to her fans the shocking extent of her injuries – her face looked completely disfigured with swelling that soon subsided.

Jedrezejczyk’s hematoma was a result of ‘the greatest women’s fight in the history of UFC’ or so it has been dubbed and 32-year old was barely recognisable.

She was taken to hospital prior to returning home to have the swelling to her forehead and cheeks treated.

However, she was fortunate enough to have ‘no significant injuries’ and kept her spirits high.

On Wednesday, the former UFC strawweight champ took to her Instagram once more sharing another picture which reveals the remarkable transformation of her face in such a short space of time.

Jedrezejczyk has been working out at home in self-isolation since being placed on lockdown.

The post-war wounds from March 7th are still healing, but today I decided to wear full clothes&face camouflage.🤕😃 My physical therapist always says that I "heal like a dog".🐶🚑 Maybe it doesn't sound good, but definitely has a positive meaning.👍🏼 Yesterday I had to do a "body check" with @kamiliwanczyk to make sure that the bruises, which can sometimes be dangerous, are getting properly absorbed.🥺 Eventually, we decided to use some tape to help me get back in shape faster.😁 How’s your day?🤗 Hope you're not going crazy locked in four walls?😜 👸🏻 #armygirl #camouflage #camouflaged #camouflagejacket #zara #taping #kinesiotaping #war #battle #ufc248 #speedrecovery #healingprocess #wmma #ufc

In other news, Jedrzejczyk has been drawing out battle lines in a war of words with Colby Covington who she wants kicked out of American Top Team.

In an interview with ESPN MMA Jedrezejczyk said: “I don’t want to talk about Colby because he is such a liar”.

“The thing is he wants this exposure he needs this attention because he has nothing to offer to the world”.

Ooh, harsh.

But she attempted to remain fair to him on the basis of his athletic abilities saying: “He is a great athlete, such a hard worker, but it isn’t him. Someone is writing this for, and I know who does it”.

Adding: “I feel sorry to him that he needs to jump on me, Jorge [Masvidal], Dustin Poirier. We are such hard workers, very talented people, we are real warriors and he is trying to take advantage of us”.

“I don’t want to comment on that, he is such a liar you know”.

Shame the pair can’t realistically fight it out.

Seems they have beef.
