Let’s face it, although it’s hard to believe summer 2020 is already fizzling out, we’re more than ready for all that Autumn brings.
Cosy nights in and hot chocolate with Netflix‘s Halloween hits are just some of the perks when the nights draw in. And if Halloween’s your bag, what better way to celebrate all things that go bump in the night than a drive-thru horror maze?
Promising to be Covid-safe, for a limited time only, you can visit the UK’s first drive-thru horror maze which may well have you locking your car doors and clinging to your seat.
Just don’t take anyone who is too squeamish as organisers, Cyclone Events Management say “it isn’t for the faint-hearted” – and once you’re in, you’re staying in as the only way out is through the mile-long maze.
Your drive-thru experience will feature many unexpected twists and turns with actors jumping in and creeping around reenacting some of the most terrifying scenes from TV and film.
The live-action sections of the maze remain under wraps, so you won’t know what to expect until you arrive but it seems there are plenty of pretty terrifying zombies.
Organisers state that all participants must wear masks (the freakier the better, if you ask me), and no one is permitted to get outside of their car during the 20-minute, mile-long journey.
The drive-thru horror maze is located at the Rock Park festival site in Wrexham – just an hour’s drive from Manchester.
The recommended age for the event is 16 and over, although any age can attend at their parents’ discretion.
Tickets go on sale from Friday 11 September and are priced at £12.50.
