Everyone who watched it loved Netflix’s Umbrella Academy, and with the divorce of Marvel and the streaming service, it seemed like the perfect tonic to settle our superhero-less nerves.
But then it went away and a second season was looking less and less likely by the day. Happily, continuation of the story was soon announced, and only recently did production really start.
Robert Sheehan, who plays Number Four, recently posted this to Instagram, saying “Season Two starts now”, and that got a lot of people excited…
And now even more excitingly, production really has started with a table read taking place last Saturday.
Going by normal shooting schedules, this means that actual filming could start as soon as some time this week…
The first season of Umbrella Academy was adapted from My Chemical Romance’s Gerard Way’s comic book series – illustrated by Gabriel Bá – and gained more than a cult following, part in thanks to Robert Sheehan’s Klaus. A sexy, sexy man.
I hope Aidan Gallagher doesn’t have a go at me for writing this. As far as I can tell, this is all 100% facts but god knows. You have to take everything with a pinch of salt these days.
Well this is going to be fun.
