Watch the X-Men cast react to the Dark Phoenix trailer in 4DX below

The culmination of 20 years of X-Men movies is on the horizon and those seeing at a Cineworld 4DX cinema are in for a treat.

Who could have predicted that we would have been here after seeing Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine’s humble cage-fighting origins way back in the year 2000?

With the big finale almost here, what better way to experience it than in the ultimate in sensory cinema? Expect your local Cineworld 4DXto have you quite literally rocking in your seat as the beloved Jean Grey, played by Sophie Turner, becomes possessed by a nefarious and powerful entity. Her Phoenix power, and eventual transition into the Dark Phoenix, will give the 4DX plenty of opportunity to put their strobe lighting into action. And this is an X-Men movie after all, so there’ll no doubt be wind, water and lightning coming your way too.

In one of the most iconic X-Men storylines, Jean almost dies after being hit by a mysterious cosmic force but instead ends up a whole lot more powerful and unstable in equal measures. Yep, Jean is going from friend to foe.

Jean, or should we say The Dark Phoenix, begins to tear the X-Men apart and, well, in true X-Men style it’s end-of-the-world kind of stuff as along with her new powers there’s a mysterious woman who begins to sway Jean to the bad side.

Xavier, Magneto, Cyclops and co have to stop her – hopefully without killing her (or even being killed themselves) – as she gets more and more dangerous. It’s what everything’s been building up to.

Yep, seeing the culmination of an iconic movie franchise in the ultimate cinema is definitely the way to go. You can book tickets at your local Cineworld 4DX here.
