Her Royal Majesty needs a new cleaner and the position offers training as well as some unique benefits.
Being a cleaner for a monarch is an ideal setting for a Disney fantasy but it could be a reality for someone who can clean to a royal standard. The cleaning apprentice will live in Windsor Castle or Buckingham Palace with all meals and travel expenses covered. All in all, it sounds like a pretty good deal for someone who loves the monarchy.
The post is for a Level 2 Housekeeping Apprentice and it will have on the job training from professionals who work with the royals. By the end of the training, the employee will be expected to help to maintain the upkeep and presentation of the interiors of royal buildings.
The employee will receive £19,140 annually and will be entitled to 33 days of holiday (including Bank Holidays). On top of that, there is the promise of a “range of catering and recreational facilities.”
