What’s not to love?
Luxury, 5 star surroundings, a fancy hotel, a good night’s sleep and $2,000 for the privilege.
Normally you have to pay someone thousands to even get close to that.
SleepStandards are offering this brilliant opportunity, as they seek a candidate for their research.
They say they’re looking for one lucky person who will “help us learn more about the influence of environmental factors on the quality of sleep.”
If you’re picked, you will spend five nights sleeping in different environments set up by the team, including one night in a luxury 5-star resort.
The experiment will last five nights. You will be sent to a new sleep environment every night.
They say: “In each of those environments, we will carefully adjust several environmental factors that we think might improve your sleep quality. You can expect different settings in each place. Not to worry though, these settings will in no way harm your physical and mental health.”
If you’re picked, you will be required to write an honest report about your sleep experience each night. They particularly want to know about how each of the adjustments that were made affect your sleep quality.
As well as writing report, you’ll be asked to rate the environment on a scale from 1 to 10 (with 10 being the best sleep environment).
You would get $2,000 cash and all expenses paid.
Your application should contain the following:
A headshot and a link to a 60-second introduction video where you are talking about passion for the position we’re posting (this video is a wonderful opportunity to tell us why you’re the best candidate for this job), and links to your social media profiles.
Sadly you must be at least 18 to enter, and a resident of the United States.
Getting paid to sleep, it sounds too good to be true but apparently it’s not.
