Netflixhas officially released You Season 2 as of Boxing Day. Additionally, that means a ton of leftover turkey.
There will be enough turkey leftovers for even the most ardent meat lovers to switch to veganism for the duration of the winter.
Please move on from talking about Thanksgiving; today is the official release date of You Season 2 on Netflix. And this is, I promise you, your next fixation if, after binge-watching The Witcher, you're feeling a little adrift. Netflix UK & Ireland (@NetflixUK) said:
It's safe to assume that social media is somewhat delighted with the ten brand-new episodes of the creepyyet charming drama, which stars the stunning and terrifying Penn Badgley. bri (@afterspidey) says, "i already fucking love love so if joe tries to lay a finger on her #YOUSEASON2"
NATASHA MELISSA (130) 💋 (@blessbabe) says, "Do not disturb. ⚠️
I’m spending time with my favourite psychopath.
Season 2 of @YouNetflix is here!"
Nebraska Chick (@TheNebraskaChck) says, "Sorry the person you are trying to reach is currently unavailable. Please try your tweet again after they've finished bingeing season 2 of @YouNetflix #YouS2 #PennBadgley"
Sadly, I haven't had time to see any of the just released season. My severe post-Christmas hangover has set in, and I'm afraid I'll throw up if I look at a screen for too long since I'll binge watch the entire thing. Up until New Year's Day, I'm indulging myself to a leisurely binge of You Season 2 (because by then, this horror enthusiast will be obsessed with Dracula).
It's made by the same men that did Sherlock, after all. Fucking Sherlock. I'm eager.
Although I haven't watched any of the second season yet, you're in luck because I work at The Hook and have lots of spoiler-free tea waiting for you. First off, Joe—our favorite psychopath, goes by Will these days. He also relocated to Los Angeles, which is hardly shocking given what transpired with Beck in New York.
I'm crossing my fingers that Joe/Will travels to London for Season 3 after he has to leave the City of Angels once more due to his inevitable destruction of everything he touches.
This is Netflix's official tea:
“„The second season follows Joe Goldberg, who upon taking a trip to Los Angeles, has his eyes and obsession set on aspiring chef, Love Quinn. Meanwhile, Candace is back to try and put an end to Joe’s sickening ways.- Netflix
Additionally, the new show is expected to be much "scarier and gorier" than the first season.
You have the most amazing post-Christmas binge ahead of you if you haven't watched Season 1 yet, and I'm quite envious.
According to Netflix's official synopsis:
Based on Caroline Kepnes’ best-selling novel of the same name, “What would you do for love?”. When a brilliant bookstore manager crosses paths with an aspiring writer, his answer becomes clear: anything. Using the internet and social media as his tools to gather the most intimate of details and get close to her, a charming and awkward crush quickly becomes obsession as he quietly and strategically removes every obstacle - and person - in his way. Starring Penn Badgley, Elizabeth Lail, Shay Mitchell, Lucy Padovan and Zach Cherry.
Watch You Season 2 right now on Netflix. Better than dry leftovers and a fascinating game of trivial pursuit with Granny and Uncle Jon, surely? Perhaps I will devour it all today.
