It’s Boxing Day, which means You Season 2 has finally arrived on Netflix

It also means leftover turkey… so much leftover turkey.

Enough leftover turkey to turn even the most adamant of meat lovers into vegans for the rest of the winter.

Your new obsession is here

But enough about turkey (PLEASE), because today is the day that You Season 2 officially arrives on Netflix. And trust me, if you’re feeling a little lost now that you’ve binged The Witcher, THIS is one hundred percent your next obsession.

You Season 2 includes 10 new episodes

Ten brand-new episodes of the eerie, yet endearing thriller starring the gorgeous and terrifying Penn Badgley, have arrived on the streaming service and it’s safe to say that social media is somewhat pleased.

What to expect from You Season 2?

Unfortunately, I haven’t had time to watch any of the new season yet. My blazing post-Christmas hangover has kicked in and I’m worried that if I stare at a screen for too long (’cause I will binge the whole thing), I’ll vomit. I’m treating myself to a slow You Season 2 binge up until New Year’s Day (’cause it’s going to be all about Dracula by then for this horror hound).

I mean it’s made by the guys that did Sherlock. F*cking Sherlock. I can’t wait.

You Season 2: trailer and tea

I might not have seen any of the second season yet, but luckily for you, I work for The Hook, so I have plenty of spoiler-free tea cooling down for you. Firstly, our fave psychopath Joe is now going by Will. He’s also moved from New York to LA and considering what went down in New York with Beck, that’s hardly surprising.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed that Joe/Will crosses the pond to London for Season 3, after he inevitably destroys everything he touches in the City of Angels and has to get out of town again.

You Season 2

Here’s the official tea from Netflix:

The second season follows Joe Goldberg, who upon taking a trip to Los Angeles, has his eyes and obsession set on aspiring chef, Love Quinn. Meanwhile, Candace is back to try and put an end to Joe’s sickening ways.”

The new series is set to be a lot scarier and gorier than the first season, too.

What happens in Season 1 of You?

I mean, if you haven’t watched Season 1 yet, you have the most epic post-Christmas binge ahead of you and I’m totally jealous.

Netflix’s official synopsis reads:

“Based on Caroline Kepnes’ best-selling novel of the same name, “What would you do for love?”. When a brilliant bookstore manager crosses paths with an aspiring writer, his answer becomes clear: anything. Using the internet and social media as his tools to gather the most intimate of details and get close to her, a charming and awkward crush quickly becomes obsession as he quietly and strategically removes every obstacle – and person – in his way. Starring Penn Badgley, Elizabeth Lail, Shay Mitchell, Lucy Padovan and Zach Cherry.”

Beck You Season 1

Catch You Season 2 on Netflix now. Surely a better option than dry leftovers and a riveting game of trivial pursuit with Uncle Jon and Granny? Maybe I will binge it all today…
