You can’t stop me; I’m constantly doing hilarious things like hiding people’s lunches, moving their chairs as they go to sit down, putting salt in their water, kissing my sister, you know… funny things. Sending them Rick Astley songs as bitlinks.
Just great pranks. You can’t beat them. I must admit though, I didn’t come up with all of them myself; I actually got the fourth one from the infallible Chris Monroe, otherwise known as YouTuber PrankInvasion.
You’ve probably already heard of Monroe’s most devious prank, with the nuanced title “KISSING MY ACTUAL SISTER PRANK!” in which, still surprisingly – even with the title taken into consideration – he kisses his sister… as a prank.
He certainly got… you? Me? His parents?
I shouldn’t, but I’m going to stick the video in right here…
Hard to watch. Genuinely hard to watch. The last time I said that was when I was watching Eat, Pray, Love and this is so much worse. He kisses his sister.
But you knew that. Anyway, as you might suspect, and because he’s a YouTuber, many people went ahead and pointed the old “that’s not your sister” finger, but Monroe, not put off by the public’s newest perception of himself, went on to confirm that they really are siblings.
Speaking to Fabulous Digital, he said:
“She is my real half-sister. So, true she is not fully my blood but she is half and that is a fact.“
So not the full thing but still absolutely not a normal (or okay) thing to do. Least of all to then put it on YouTube.
It’s not a prank, is it? I don’t even feel slightly tricked. Unless, you know, “Got you! You thought you were living in a normal, functioning society! Idiot!”
If that was it, then fair enough. I’ll hold my hands up and say Chris, you got me.
They also seem really into it. Sure they’re all “oooh this is so gross” at first, but then they start kissing like soldiers returning from war.
At the time of writing, the video is at 3,156,967 views, with 101,000 dislikes and only 19,000 likes and it seemed to stem from this Instagram post…
In it, Monroe writes:
“You’re my half-sister but it honestly doesn’t feel like it – so thankful we’ve stayed so close all our lives. Go follow her and show her love!
“If this photo gets 30,000 likes… me and my sis will kiss on YouTube!“
Big leap. I wonder if she knew he was going to caption the photo that. She probably just logged on to Instagram and resigned herself to knowing that this is going to be her life from now on.
I need a shower.
