We all know that the prank was pioneered by the likes of Jeremy Beadle in the 1990s (I bet 90% of our audience doesn’t even know who that is) and the infinitely more millennial-friendly Ashton Kutcher, who both had a great knack for duping the unsuspecting among us.
With the advent of the internet, though, pranking has basically become a hobby/past-time for people who unfortunately can’t get a real job but have been able to take advantage of the increasingly stupid times we live in.
YouTubers they’re called.
Chris Monroe – otherwise known as YouTuber PrankInvasion – is a trailblazer for ridiculous stunts, recently going viral for his “KISSING MY ACTUAL SISTER PRANK!
Yes, he supposedly kissed his actual, real sister.
This is where we’re at right now, folks.
Many people went ahead and pointed the old “that’s not your sister” finger, but he confirmed it to was, telling Fabulous Digital:
“She is my real half-sister. So, true she is not fully my blood but she is half and that is a fact.“
Not really his proper sister but whatever.
Anyway, this incest-loving, attention-grabbing ‘star’ has now turned his attention to his own mum. Come on, man, this is the woman that birthed you, that nurtured you. Get your hands off her.
Also, what’s she playing at?
After a collection of bragging screen grabs from when he kissed his sis, Monroe said: “This video, we’re gonna top my kissing my sister prank video. I’m gonna kiss my mom. It feels so weird to say that but it’s going down.”
What exactly’s going down? I wouldn’t put it past him the filthy git.
He explained: “Only thing is, I was planning to shoot this video later this week it turned out my mom has an emergency, she’s gotta leave the country.
“I couldn’t get my normal camera charged in time. This is what I usually shoot with, really nice quality.”
It’s either I shoot now on the iPhone or I wait two weeks – and we don’t wanna wait two weeks.”
At first she’s reluctant but succumbs after playing rock, paper, scissors – the great determiner for all life’s most important decisions.
Look, the guy’s way too excited about it and eventually he does. Here you go, you sick, sick people.
There it is – ‘KISSING MY ACTUAL MOM PRANK!’ – the most 2019 thing I’ve ever heard.
Let’s be honest here, it’s not a prank.
A prank usually implies that one or more of the people involved aren’t actually in on the act – these two have colluded in order to get likes and become famous.
I’ve had enough internet for today.

Charismatic, witty, charming, engaging - four things Joshua Rogers will never be. Thankfully, he’s a semi-competent writer, who, after graduating university with two mostly pointless degrees, joined The Hook two years ago. Since then, he has honed his writing skills over the course of various sex related articles. Now, at the tender age of 26, he’s finally finished experimenting with (on) himself.
