Zac Efron and Amanda Seyfried have together answered a few adorable and hilarious questions from a pack of kids and it’s brilliant.

Ever since High School Musical, Efron has been on the radar as one of the sexiest guys in the world (and someone I’m forever intensely jealous of), while Seyfried has essentially always been around as one of the best actors of her generation and a pretty great singer. They really are some pair.

Both Zac Efron and Amanda Seyfried have come together – amongst many other great names – for the new film SCOOB!, which chronicles the adventures of Scooby Doo and the rest of Mystery Inc. Playing Fred and Daphne respectively, Efron and Seyfried had a bunch of questions thrown at them recently and it was great.

There’s a twist though, as the questions came from lil’ kiddiwinks, which led to some pretty hilarious moments.

For instance, at one point Zac was asked “My mummy say’s you’re really hot. Is that because it’s warm where you are?” Naturally the pair tried – and mostly failed – to stifle their laughter, and it went on from there…

Innocence like that can’t be paralleled can it? Say what you like about being an adult and being able to joke about things that completely go over the heads of little children, but there’s something to be said for thinking ‘hot’ genuinely means warm and, I don’t know, ‘sleeping’ with someone means you had a nap together.

More specifically than my stupid little round-up of the plot of SCOOB! above, the actual synopsis reads:

With hundreds of cases solved and adventures shared, Scooby and the gang face their biggest, most challenging mystery ever — a plot to unleash the ghost dog Cerberus upon the world. As they race to stop this global dog-pocalypse, the gang discovers that Scooby has a secret legacy and an epic destiny greater than anyone could have imagined.

Sounds pretty bloody charming. SCOOB! is available to rent on Premium Video On Demand from Friday 10th July
